Small monastery thst currently has 7 monks, of which most of them are studying in India.
The villagers asked for a khenpo to bring back the monastery to life: renew it, set up a school, guesthouse, advertise it, … And Khenpo Ngawang Tashi has been appointed for it.
The village also has relevance because of this story: Mahakala in Ghiling Monastery Originally From Jampa Temple.
