Yesterday, despite the weather was bad I went hiking. Do you like mountain hiking?

Yes it does. About mountain clothes: despite not needing them, some people wear them at the city. Because in their opinion they think they are fancy.
Yes. I don’t harm the environment. In the past I wore merino wool, that is a very good quality material. But since I worry about the happiness of the sheep, I will stop wearing it.
Warm Clothes
I like thick and warm clothes but since I live in a hot country, unless the day it’s cold I cannot wear them. Some years ago I could wear woolen clothes because the weather was colder. If I dressed wool now people will laugh.
You are right. Since we are damaging the enviornment the weather is becoming dangerous. In India people wear long sleeve despite being so hot. I think maybe they protect their skin from the sun heat.
This is true! In my country I saw people with rain umbrellas despite having good weather!

Dress Codes
If I knew how to choose fancy clothes and colors I wouldn’t dress so simple. If I will get more time in the future I might spend more time on searching clothes. Since you are a nun, you should not dress in any random way, right?
And what’s your opinion on uniforms at school? In my opinion, despite not having the experience of wearing a uniform, at schools, since all students wear the same, they will not be jealous of each others clothes. But if everyone wears the same clothing it also makes difficult to find your friend during school breaks!
Textile Industry
Did you know my father worked in a textile factory? He sold good quality clothes. Then since people prefered price over quality, China started selling cheaper clothes. Then the factory had to shut down. But now China sells better quality and the price is higher. Therefore many people in my country are producing clothes again.
Oh yes, generally the quality of clothes was good before. If you buy clothes that are too cheap they will tear easily.
Material Preference
And what is your favourite material and clothes?
Since I like soft clothes I usually wear silk. A silk shirt looks good because it doesn’t look rough. But cotton is very convenient too.
Oh, I see. I don’t like textiles coming from animals. So I have never worn leather. Now since I am a nun I cannot wear jewelry.
